City of Merritt – West Merritt Active Transportation Path

LEL has worked with the City of Merritt to complete the design and construction services for an approximately 2.7km length multi-use path / active transportation corridor residing in West Merritt. The design included various active transportation cross-sections including roadside shared laneways, separated multi-use paths and protected bikeways. LEL completed the detailed design of this corridor working along side the City of Merritt in the Spring of 2022, and then assisted the City with procurement services and contract award. The project is currently under construction and will be complete in the Spring of 2023.
